What would be an alternative to using 900mhz radios? The application would serve an airport ramp operation.? - ramp industries

We are currently using a 900-MHz amplifier in its place. We believe that the system is excessive and not ideal for us. The main problem is the learning curve, we lack experience and knowledge of the radio industry. Our current suppliers are unreliable, because the solution necessarily mean less profit for them. We seek a fair proposal. Thank you!
